In a recent development, BJP councilors in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation area have issued a warning of continuous agitation if the increased license fee is not withdrawn.

Three councilors, namely Sajal Ghosh, Meena Devi Purohit, and Vijay Ojha, recently met with Municipal Commissioner Vinod Kumar to discuss the issue.

Following the meeting, the BJP councilors announced that they will campaign for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation on April 28th, and will not back down from their demands for the withdrawal of the increased license fee.

Sajal Ghosh, one of the councilors, emphasized that they will continue their agitation if their demands are not met and are even prepared to go on hunger strike if necessary.

The increased license fee has been a point of contention for the BJP councilors, and they have been actively seeking its withdrawal. The councilors' warning of agitation is likely to intensify the pressure on the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to address their demands.
